and i promised myself i wouldn't make another crappy discussion.. colitis is one of those wonderful things you occasionally inheirit from your parents messed up combo of bad genes.. and they can't seem to do anything about it except throw imodium at you and tell you to stop eating until it stops for the day. pretty much every day i get sick from it at some point..somedays are worse than others..but i can't leave the house til it rights itself in the morning. some days when i'm really lucky, mom has a flare up too.. ..and i have to clean her up before i go to work. ..so i basically told my boss if i'm ever late,it's cause of poop. somebody's. oy.

I totally understand how life is from the poop perspective as that for different reasons is my mum's life too. While I don't have colitis, I've had enough wrong to know how being sick sucks. Write away if it helps. I am about my latest drama more for me than the replies if you see what I mean. All digestive disorders are such a pain

I have often thought hubby has a touch of it. Not sure, but do know that he got better when he quit eating the way he ate as a bachelor. Still, he focuses on not being away from the house too early. Mom said she had colitis, and that was before immodium. She was hooked on something, cannot remember what, that was supposed to relax the muscle spasms.
