Does Anyone Own a Barometer?

I'm curious whether anyone here owns a barometer as I've thought of getting one for several years to better anticipate when I might get sinus headaches.
The one or type in the link it's probably the type of get as I'd think it would be easier to see at a glance than the dial type.
There's a medicine that can be taken daily to help prevent sinus problems but I don't like using it. With a barometer and assuming it's fairly easy to read I could use the medicine when I see the pressure beginning to build and maybe eliminate the headaches entirely.
So, do you own one or know of anyone that has them?

We have a "weather station" which has a barometer, thermometer and something that reads the humidity on it. I believe that I bought it for my husband for our first Christmas way back in 1987. We also have a Galileo's thermometer. That is really cool, it forecasts any fronts that will be approaching. We like it and it sees somewhat accurate.

@MarshaMusselman We have one of each.
And both are extremely accurate.
The one with the dials is better for short term forecasts, whereas the other one with the water is great for changes in the air that are current. If you check it in the morning and then a few hours later and see a difference, then you know a front is coming thru, and its all done with liquids and glass.

Are yours on dials type measurements or do you have anything where water or something in the water moves too?

@Juliaacv Do you or your husband ever get headaches related to different fronts, and if so does it help you either prevent the headaches or at least minimize the effects, or you have your barometers for some other reason?
There's a med that one sprays up their nostrils to prevent sinuses from clogging up. I've had this before but I'm not one to take daily meds if they're not needed. So, if I knew ahead of time that something was about to happen I could then begin the meds to prevent the sinus headaches. Mine aren't debilitating, but no one likes getting headaches. So, it's something I'm considering.
A friend at work doesn't just get headaches it's like she has the flu, but she may not be affected when I am. On the other hand if I were to get either or both of these, then I could let her know too when something is changing so she'd at least have a heads up, no pun intended.

We've had one for years, it gives temp, humidity and barometric pressure. I rarely think to look at it but when I do it's always accurate. I don't even know where we got it as we've had so long.

What type do you have and do you use it to prepare for changes in the weather coming at all?

@Namelesss I saw several pics of that type. I think it's have to get closer to those to see what it says where the colored glasses in a flask I could view from afar it's necessary assuming I find a good perch so as not to break it

Glad I could help you out. Will you be looking for the one with dials or the liquid type? If you'd like you can post a pic of what you get and notify me.

I've never heard had one either not had anyone else that I know. It's just something I've thought about in recent years when my sinus are affected more.

Is your indoor outdoor thermometer electronic somehow? It is the model made from the weather channel?

I think it's used for other reasons too. Possibly to prepare for odd weather changes before they happen
