Diyas!

Good evening everyone. The day is going really good. We had gone to give gifts to our relatives, friends and neighbors. We had completed our rituals and after that we lighted candles and Diyas. The entire balcony and even the environment is full of diyas and candles. There are lights all over. I'm so happy. Now we will be having delicious dinner soon.

Thank you. We had our traditional Punjabi food i.e. Rajma which is made of red kidney beans and it has been our dinner every year this day.

Diya is a small cup-shaped oil lamp made of baked clay. Plural of diya is diyas. In Diwali, it is the most lighted thing everywhere.
