We called this as "Lontong" and I don't know what it called in English language? This food is made from rice and coconut milk wrapped in banana leaf then steamed. Have you ever tried it?

I haven't heard of this, but I have had something like steamed bananas. A Thai woman made them for us.

This banana leaf only gives a sweet taste to rice, so it will create a unique taste.

We have one similar to that one here in the Philippines, we call it suman, it's made of glutinous rice cooked with coconut milk, sugar and ginger, then it's wrapped in banana leaves and then steamed. I cannot find any English term for that, generally they can term it as rice cake.

I have used the word rice cake but it seems this kind of food is different for some countries.
