My Wonderful Weekend

This has been a wonderful weekend for me. I got to come home for a fabulous dinner on Friday night. Joe makes a shrimp and smoked sausage casserole that is to die for. Then he came over yesterday and drove me to my hair appointment in Chesapeake. I can drive myself but I like it better when he takes me. That is one of our special times together. The opportunity came for me to come for dinner again this evening. I am playing online while he prepares dinner downstairs. I think he is baking fish. I used to fuss at Joe for procrastinating all the time. It did not look to me like he was trying to do the things he needed to do for himself. Like when I walked in and found a sink full of pots and pans while he sat doing nothing. Then I found out that he was just taking a break after cooking up something to bring to Mother and me. That made me feel so silly. I have always known that hubby is the kind of gentleman who will sacrifice his own needs to help someone else. I am very proud of him and I want him to know it.
