How do you react to an offensive or rude response to a discussion that you have posted on MyLot? Do you respond with vengeance? Or block that MyLot member, or simply ignore it? I do not post any controversial post, so I am less likely to get any offensive responses. But if I do get any, my reaction will certainly depend on my mood.

Likely ignore and leave the comment so others can see what that person is like. Perhaps I would delete the comment if I deemed it offensive to others. And in that case I would report it. I might respond, but I would avoid getting caught up in a debate. I save that for in person.

I agree 100% with the approach @paigea takes. If a person is being a jerk, why not let the entire community see. I hope you do not run into anything rude or mean.

I usually ignore it. When the same person responds to many of my posts in an offensive way, I block him/her.

I keep cool and calm, maintain my composure so I can answer back in a most befitting way,

I don't think it's ever happened to me either. If someone disagreed with me but in a ride or mean way I'd probably tell them it's fine to disagree but they could keep their emotions out of the text. Course, that might fit them further I've never blocked anyone intentionally. Another thing that can be done is delete the comment, but is only do that I'd it was really bad

I ignore them. It’s waste of time talking with them.

So far I've not had a problem. People can disagree, but that should be done respectfully.
