If you are given a choice between bus and train, which one would you choose?

Suppose you have to travel a long distance - a journey lasting for more than 8 hours, and if you are given choice between bus and train, which one would you choose? For me, train will always be the first choice. I have always found traveling by train more comfortable. What about you?

@amirev777 Train every time. I've travelled a lot on trains and buses in India and train is definitely superior, and , I believe, Safer.

I would prefer to travel by train. It is more comfortable. I once travelled by bus from Germany to Lithuania, the journey lasted 30 hours. I wouldn't do that again, but it was the cheapest option. Today I would prefer to pay a bit more and travel by train.

@MALUSE That sounds a lot better than 30 hours on a bus. My longest train journey lasted 3 days. We traveled from Denmark to Greece via Germany, Hungary and Serbia. We were exhausted when we finally arrived in Greece.
