Our PM gives speeches without referring to notes. I marveled at this ability. I can at best manage that for say fifteen minutes but this guy goes beyond an hour without fumbling I did some search and expected praises to be showered on him but instead I found this link that shows a teleprompter hidden from the audience from where he can 'see' his speech. I am disappointed.

As far as I know a lot of leaders use them as reference. Modi's ability to remember facts and narrate and also his natural oratory skills make his speeches very natural. Just a teleprompter can't make a great speech. You need skills and content too. His criticism of others is just usual politics in India. Everyone is guilty of pointing fingers at everyone else.

I am with you on this. He is a great orator where he has the ability to provide fake news as though they are real (lol)

@allknowing being an orator is one of the necessary qualifications to enter politics. There is so much of fake news these days and fake news saying real news is fake that it's difficult to believe anything. As citizens we want a happy, secular, democratic, non-discriminatory country and everyday we hope for such a situation.

That's very clever isn't it? Usually you can tell by a person's eyes if they are reading from a board behind the audience but this seems better.

I was watching him this morning. He was giving the keynote address at Fintech in Singapore and the fluency with which he was doing it was unbelievable. Then I searched the Net and found this

More shattered because he has been criticising the opposition for looking at notes while giving speeches. Disgraceful.
