You will know you will smell bad if you have worn the same socks for several days, if you have not bathed for several days and if you have not changed your underwear.
You will not get the smell but others will. 
Moral of the story change your socks every day, bathe everyday and change your underwear atleast twice a day

The main thing is we do not get our own smell but others do and that we must know and so hiding it by spraying the most expensive perfume will not hide it (lol)

@allknowing Basic hygiene if inculcated as a habit costs nothing and save so much on deo and perfume. I have to be always clean as I can not hide my bad smell with perfume and deo. I am allergic to them and get a severe headache.
I can withstand bad smell but not an expensive perfume.

If one stays home most of the time then the frequency may not be the same as for going out, specially when one spends the whole day at office and then travels to and fro.

@allknowing I wear clean underwear and clothing every morning after I shower. If I stay at home I do not change, I throw in the laundry basked in the evening before taking my bath and wearing the night gown.
