Today we were looking at the terms in our pieces for dynamics (louds and softs) and interpretation (speed). At the end, the piece says "rit." So I said, "What does r-i-t-period mean?" And one kid yelled "Rest In Peace!" Well.. not exactly. (It means "ritardando", or "slow down".) What cute things have you heard kids say?

My princess in her 3 to 4 years used to say thokna ( the packet made of paper given the shopkeeper.) Many words are there which I can't translate.

A good one. As a teacher, I was treated to such innocent answers but impossible to translate them into English.

So cute! Kids are always innocent and adorable! I recall one of friend had a tough time as his kid was angry with him for he was not invited to theirv parents marriage! (In India, kids are normally born after the marriage).
