A few surprises...

When I saw an email yesterday that mylot sent me my payment (for the months of August - October) I was a bit surprised. Didn't realize it was the 15th of the month already.
What I earned was not much but this made me happy and to top it off, it was snowing yesterday. And it was my husband's day off. This made the day even better.
Yesterday, was the first snow of the year. Most of it melted already though. 
Pretty much all that's left when I look outside my window is puddles... But you can still see the remnants of the snow...
On another note, today is my anniversary of moving to the United States (NYC) from Minsk, Belarus. I moved here on this day in 1992. I was nine-years-old at the time. If my math is correct it's been 26 years since I came here. Can't believe it's been that long already. Time needs to slow down...
I started out living in Brooklyn and then toward the end of the 1990s I moved to Staten Island. So, I've been a New Yorker for 26 years. And unless something changes, I will remain a New Yorker for the rest of my life!
