Music From Somewhere With Love.....

Pamplona, Spain

This kind of weather used to bring around in the City at least in the streets the central ones would be players. Would be players like guitar players and the like. That time was a Russian lady who played like no one I have ever heard before at least up until that time. Ethereal music played with those soft nimble fingers of hers. A lot of people put money into her hat that was on the ground. Although it was bitterly cold she was still able to play such wonderful music. It was so cold that you felt the strings of the violin might have frozen.

Street players remind me of my eldest grandsons. They have earned money while in Europe playing in the streets. Felipe is studying flamenco guitar in Sevilla and he is very talented. But in summer, he earns some money playing at street corners.

In Sevilla they will be able to play but not in Pamplona as it was stomped out ages ago. Its a great pity its like that but that is the way it is.

@marguicha Because they are stopping people from being creative but they never stomp out their silly manifestations for Euskalerria not that ever. I wish I could show a video of such a talented lady.

Some of the buskers are just so good. I hope those that are so talented eventually make it in the 'real' music world.

I hope that they do also. Its a tough world out there for singers of any kind or musicians.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Our son is a professional jazz musician in Dublin and he finds it very hard to make a living.

I hope she was properly clothed. Or whatever money she had collected would have just gone to medicine if she got sick.

Being from Russia and more used to the cold I think she was more happy to play and yes she was wearing winter clothes. Wonderful player.

That is about how we will get to see them also on youtube. Its not quite the same as seeing them live though. Although we have to be thankful that we can see them on youtube.

The same I would hope. I have not had the chance to listen to her for a while so later on I will try to find a good string of her music if I can as I try to dodge the adverts on there.

I have never seen street musicians, at least not that I can remember. I'm sure it's lovely to see and hear though. :)

She was really good on the Violin and she went back more times to play until they stopped them playing music in the streets.

Yes I have seen them also on television programs too. They have forbidden them to be in the town playing now.

I mostly see them playing in NYC subways and all over Europe. Some are very good, while others should stay home and scrub their floors.
