In my recent discussion, I mentioned that my family is down with the flu. As much as I can, I shun away from synthetic medicine. Boiled ginger with honey seemed to work. I followed an acupressure video on YouTube to relieve my stuffy nose. It worked as well. Are you also like me who shuns away from synthetic medicine when feeling under the weather? How do you cure flu easily without using medicine?

I always use ginger and honey too. I really hate medicines, I even prefer injections more in hospitals instead of being given tablets.

Yeah, ginger and honey work well. Did you say injections? hehehe. But the fluid in a syringe is synthetic medicine, too.

How i wish I can be like you. But since I have work on weekdays from 8;00 am to 6:30 p.m. and have to commute, I don't have time to do those anymore. Thus, I turn to medicines prescribed.

After years of having the flu every stinking Thanksgiving, I went about twenty years with no flu whatsoever. But if I got the flu I would go straight to the doctor for medication. When I get sick it takes me down. My mom and I would get so sick we'd pass out, whereas my dad and sister were up and around in two days.

I can't stay away from meds specially if the doctor was the one who prescribe is vital for me. I have tried ginger with lemon in the past, but now i don't have any lemon so I won't be trying it soon.

@sofssu I tried to do this earlier in the morning but I realized I ran out of ginger. Tomorrow, I will buy ginger and try mixing it up with pepper.

I usually take hot milk with honey, or I prepare warm lemon water with turmeric, I dislike synthetic medicines.

I am so much like you and I think cold and flu are ordinary illness that can be easily remedied by drinking lemon and honey. I hate synthetic meds and I rarely take them. I believe prevention is better than cure though so I make sure I drink my lemon infused water everyday and take green tea to boost my immune system.

With flu i take medicine. But for stuffy nose or light fever, i dont take anything. You are correct being dependent on synthetic medicines have side effects. Continue what you do. Organic treatment is the best.
