Despite what the national news media has been broadcasting the terrible news of the wildfire in Southern California that struck in the Malibu area, one great reunion story came recently when Hamish Patterson was reunited with his cat Mike after a nine day separation.
Hamish was very thankful that people close to him prayed for the safety of his cat who fled the home before the fire burned it to the ground.
Mike managed to escape by staying in the mounatin area in Malibu.
I cannot blame Harnish for crying tears of joy when he was able to reunite with his cat.

I can relate to what he went through with the separation from his cat for nine days.

@Janet357 Losing a home to a fire is bad enough. Losing a pet would drive anyone over the edge.

@Deepizzaguy it’s hard isnt? Hours of not seeing your pet will make you miss him or her how much more 9days?

I agree with you since losing a home is hard. Losing a pet as well as a home would be tragic.

That is true since the bond between a cat and his owner is priceless.
