Last Sunday, four of us, HS batchmates watched the movie, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Has anyone watched it already too?
Most of our HS batchmates. Has seen it already and is raving as to how beautiful the movie was. So, we watched it also and indeed it was beautiful.
The story is about the life of Freddie Mercury , the lead singer of Queen, who died of AIDS in 1994, after again joining Queen, after he realized that they are his true friends.
I recommend it to everyone. You will like it, specially of course their most famous song, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Of course, after the movie, we ate our snacks.

I am not either a fan of Freddie Mercury, but after watching the movie, I am a fan, of him and the Queen.
He is a great performer and sings and writes songs with good lyrics. The movie is good, it has its funny moments too and has a lesson.
Lives portrayed in movies were somehow made to look nice, but there is a shade of their lives.
Bohemian Rhapsody is one song of the Queen that is a favorite of mine.

Yes, watch it. You will love the lesson and the music of Queen. Rock their genre may be but they are beautifully written. The lyrics are beautiful.
By the way, Freddie Mercury was an Indian.

Unfortunately I missed watching that movie. Although I am a Queen music lover. I love many of their music and the Bohemian Rhapsody is really his masterpiece. I just contend watching the documentary about him on Youtube. He has such a colorful life story.

I watched it last Nov 15 and yes, it's worth the time and money spent...
I was not a fan of Queen or Freddie but I know that song, Bohemian Rhapsody. I didn't know the meaning of the song before. I thought it was his mom who killed a man... There's a deeper meaning though...
There were songs too that were familiar to me but I didn't know it was sang by Freddie...

Just like you, I didn't even know Freddie Mercury though I know of the band Queen. I love some of their songs specially Bohemian Rhapsody. But I didn't know too that some of my favorite songs were theirs like We Are The Champion, Another One Bites the Dust and Radio Ga-ga.
Their live concert i think was the most applauded and participated by the big crowd. I love watching it.

@brokenbee But the real Freddie Mercury's teeth isn't much like of the actor that portrayed him. The faux addition to his teeth to look like it was an exaggeration.

@SIMPLYD One of the voices used really sounded like Freddie Mercury... His name was Marc Martel. And the actor who portrayed looked like him.. =)

I love the songs of the Queen group. My big sister had watched that and she told me not to watch it because I`ll just miss my deceased father who happens to love the group and keep on listening to their music when he was still alive

Why would she deter you from watching it, just because it will remind you of your father? The more that you should watch it so you will appreciate the music your father so greatly loved.
I strongly recommend that you watch it. The movie is beautiful. It has a nice lesson and you will admire Freddie Mercury's humility before the ending. And their live concert at Live Aids, in the US was also shown. Beautiful music indeed by the Queen.
