Christmas Village in Progress / myLot

I noticed yesterday that the city government started to set up a Christmas Village in a vacant lot located at the city proper. This lot according to reports is the place where another mall would be soon to rise. For the mean time it is use for the Christmas Village where decors and large Christmas trees would be set up by the 22 departments from the local government. There are also different rides and stalls for commercial display assembled. Once this done and complete, it would be a main attraction for the people. The purpose of the village is to provide colors, attraction, fun and enjoyment of the season not just for the locals but for the visitors also thereby generating income as well. This would be another exciting place to hang out with family, friends, and children. How about in your places, what are the attractions built or in progress for the season’s celebration? That's nice that your LGU has provided for this to make your place interesting and go with the seasons. My LGU has setup a Christmas on Display where mannequins are paraded along the display and depict a story. It is a show that is being done every year in my place only this time it was placed in the newly constructed City Hall since the mall it was used to be displayed has constructed buildings around it so its not a good spot to place the display.

I think that this is common among locals. It may vary to some extent but the essence is the same.

@ZedSmart For most they setup is the Christmas Tree and those affluent LGU do spend much to beautify their city halls.
