Warm at Last

Anything hot will probably help. I bought a large can of chocolate mix so I have plenty for the cold weather. I hope it will not last a long time. I got up late today so I don't blame you for getting into bed.

@Nevena83 I do too but only drink it when it is cold out.

It was in the 30s in our neck of the woods. But that is cold when it was 90F a few days ago. I do not do well when it is cold. I don't have a heating pad, the one I had gave up a while back.

@CarolDM yes it is. The good news is that it does not stay that way for months like it does in the east.

@akalinus That is very cold for Florida.

It is cold. In NY where my kids are, it has been snowing and bitterly cold. The cold filters down south with the jet stream.

I have had the heater going since yesterday. I hate winter.

@akalinus Me too, I always have cold feet.

@andriaperry I have that problem too but the cold hands are the worst. It makes it hard for me to do anything.

I know that parts of California are warm. It sounds like it gets cold now and then, though. I lived in San Francisco where it was cold a lot. But I was young then and did not feel the cold like I do now.

I will have some soup later. I am full of hot chocolate still.

I can't drink coffee. It makes me sick. But I have soup!

Now there's a thought. I don't drink coffee but some soup would be good for dinner.

It has been in the 20sF here last few mornings. I wish I could get warm. My heater is shivering.

@Jeanniemaries We do that a lot in Florida. It is cold in the morning so we load up with layer after layer. As it warms up, we peel layers off.

It is usually not this cold for this long. Florida can get cold when the jet stream brings it down from the north.

@Hannihar Most of the year, Florida is hot or at least mild. Sometimes it gets cold from the northern temperatures plunging down. When it is warm or hot most of the time, people feel the cold more intensely.

@akalinus That is very interesting. I guess I do not know that much about Florida weather. I just know that people that live in the States that want to get away from winter there and there are also people here that want to get away from winter here go to Florida. Here lots of people to to Eliat, which is a city in the South that is warm this time of year.

It is even colder here today. I can't get warm.

@akalinus Here it a cold night,but not too cold.AC is off,but ceiling fan is moving over my head.

I just have a heater. It is hot here most of the year. I only need the heater for a few months and not every day of that.
