If there is one good benefit of Black Friday being successful for one kind of business, it was the Kansas Humane Society which had a Black Friday event which gave away 140 animals to loving family. The ASPCA allowed the Kansas Humane Society to sponsor this event. According to CEO Mark Eby, six mammals, 53 cats and 81 dogs were adopted by loving families to find them new homes to call their own. This is an amazing event which should be emulated by other animal shelters around the world.

@MommyOfEli2013 I would not to work in an animal shelter to put down any animal since I love dogs and cats.

That is true since these kinds of stories are not always published in the media nationwide.
