While I was thinking of what to share until I saw this very old ID lace. This reminds me of my first job at the call center. I made a lot of mistakes even after working for such a short time. But it turns out the account was bound for a close by the time I got in. In short, I got laid off. I wasn't surprising because they didn't look like they were going keep me I wonder what you felt when you got kick out? reminds me of that GM employees again days ago.

Hello @Janet357 I agree that it's hard to have a boss and doesn't think you belong there.

@Letranknight2015 when you are old, they can replace you in one day after years of serving them.

Hello @sofssu You must be pretty good at what you do. Anyways, maybe I shouldn't have stuck myself inthe call center industry.

@Letranknight2015 I was in HR and have sent home a few people so I have had to be extremely careful about what I do.

It's never a good feeling when you get fired from a job. Being laid off here has the opportunity to be called back to work. I've been fired a few times. I admit the last time I was fired, was the best and worst. Best because the stress of the call center environment was bad. It was the worst because it was my last job I had and I was too old for anyone to hire me. Though I know there are a lot of aging Americans who are getting jobs now, I wasn't one of them.

Hello @just4him Yes, I've been told before that even old people can work there as long they still have the physical capacity to work. It's sad you didn't get one of those jobs.

I think everyone will feel angry, if I make no mistake then kick it out, but if I make a mistake then kick it out I will accept it

It's never happened to me personally, but it's happened to plenty of people around me - including Hubby. Even if it were expected, it's a bit of a shock when it actually happens. But it's better than being flat out fired.

Hello @much2say I wasn't really sad because I had a connection to another company. Sadly, I didn't last there either.

Working in a temp agency means that you expect job assignments to end. It doesn't bother me, but I do have the blessing of a safety net when assignments end.

I never been laid off, but I have been fired and it is such a bad feeling. I am so bad at working under people I am anxious and I like to take charge. But with this company they went under anyway a year after they fired me. So...karma? Haha

By LK2018 @Letranknight2015 I have had two jobs here that both closed and I lost my job and was very sad. The 2nd job people tried to find a place for us to have a new home but did not find one.
