A solar watch with the day's date on it

A number of years ago I bought a nice watch. It runs on solar batteries and recharges itself as long as I let light shine on its face. I think I bought it 20 years ago and it's still ticking away. One reason I chose this watch (besides solar being a cool idea) is that it has a little window that tells you the date (not the month, just the day). This watch is analog, so every two months, when the month only has thirty days, I have to "fast forward" the watch by turning the hands all the way through 24 hours so the date will be correct. Usually I remember but today is the 5th and my watch was still saying 4. So finally I was sitting at my desk and decided it was "time" to move the watch to the correct date. What kind of watch do you have? What do you like about it and what would you do differently if you were making your watch? On this one, I would make one button that could easily click the date forward!
