Trump's no-good, very bad, awful day

Today just keeps getting worse for Donald Trump. Russian spy Maria Butina plead guilty to conspiracy against the United States and stated that she would cooperate with the government in its investigations. This is very bad news for the GOP, the NRA, and, of course, Trump. News broke that Trump was the 3rd person in the room when Michael Cohen and David Pecker (National Enquirer publisher) agreed to work together to pay off the women that Trump had affairs with to buy their silence. That puts him smack in the middle of conspiracy to commit campaign finance violations which is a felony. The SDNY already has evidence that he was involved with it but him actually being there to plan it out only makes the case that much stronger. And now news just broke that the Trump inaugural committee is under investigation by federal prosecutors in New York for possible misuse of the $100 million that was raised for the inauguration. Some of that money has gone missing and some of it is suspected to have been used to buy access to people and events by high-level donors and by those seeking to have influence in the new administration. . . all of which is illegal. President Very Stable Genius is clearly not having a good day. That's probably why he didn't show up to work AGAIN today.

I just read that Donald is planning a 16-day vacation at Mar-A-Lago over Christmas and New Years. I wonder if he's planning on using the time to seek exile in a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the US.

Cohen won't "tell all" until too late to say goodbye to Trump over the next two years. Bummer. Is Cohen going to a State Prison? There are some ruffians in those places. He's going to have some butt buddies that are different from those he's known in the past. I hope he survives.

@NJChicaa If it's a Federal prison, it will be easier on his tushy. He'll get rich again when he writes his "tell all" book. I assume that if Trump goes to prison, it will be a similar place. Not as bad as our State prisons.
