I offered to be grant my son a wish and he wants me to cater to 15 of his friends in an impromptu Christmas party tomorrow. The catch is I cannot get food from outside- his friends have given the menu. 
Now I wish I hadn't agreed to him, I didn't see it coming and now I am in big trouble.
I already have so much on my hands with cleaning, baking and packing gifts and now here is another I didn't see coming..
That would mean I wouldn't be able to get online tomorrow..
15 Teenagers are a lot to feed.. Man, did I ask for trouble..
I better get off Mylot and get some prep work done already.. so see you after a few hours if I still feel up to it.

Maybe you should assign him with the cleaning and then washing the dishes and taking out the trash after the party.

Oh my! We are of the same boat. I have a Christmas party at home tomorrow, too. My friends asked me to held our Christmas party in my house without thinking of the outcome, I said yes. Now I am too busy to Mylot as well. I have done a lot of cleaning and tonight I will be baking. Not to mention that I will cook for dinner tomorrow. Well, they said they will bring food and only 2 mentioned what they are going to bring for dinner. I wonder if they will help me cleaning the dishes.

Well, somebody has to learn from their mistakes. Next time you will be wiser to negotiate and not making deals with youngsters LOL. Make them a cake, sandwiches, and some sodas as a menu and it's all set :)

@jvicentevalera Nope I went all the way and cooked a huge meal .. it is very day he comes up with such requests and I was okay with it.. Though it may cause me some physical problems I guess

That is a common scene in every household with a teenage child. But the fact of the matter is the mother enjoys that chore specially when accolades come pouring in

I feel getting a wish granted is the wish of every child. Once you have done, you have to do all that will follow. Can you share his happiness of the party? I think he must be on the top of the world....

@Sandeep_81 He is pretty happy, thankfully he helped me clean up a bit and took out the garbage.. Which is la lot for him to do on a normal day lol.
