MISS USA 2018 Insulted Two Other Candidates: What?!? Cyberbullying?!?

Recently, it has been trending on YouTube that Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers posted comments about two fellow candidates in Miss Universe this year. I am not going to elaborate what had been said to Miss Vietnam and Cambodia in her Instagram account. Whatever her reasons about the said action, it is still considered 'cyberbullying.' It can also lead to an old issue 'racial discrimination.' Eventually, she had apologized to these two young beauty queens. However, it had created a bad impact on social media. "Is she a cyberbully?" "Do you think it is right to scrutinize other people?" "What is your call to cyberbullying?"

I would have thrown them out of the contest, because being bullies is not compatible with the spirit of the contest.

I agree. I was also thinking the organizers have the right to disqualify her

@LadyDuck I wondered why the organizers didn't do anything about this concern.

@Shavkat I would have disqualified her, she was not only rude and offensive, but racist and this is not tolerable.

I hope she does not win. I donĀ“t know how beautiful she is, as body goes. But she is a stupid, ignorant and offensive human being. Not suited for a queen, even if it is not a real one.

It was really not good for her to say things against their opponents on social media. You are right that she didn't show the real persona of a queen. She cannot overturn this situation and needs to face the consequences.

@Shavkat Besides, she should have been taught better by her sponsors. She is representing her country. Accepting what she says means believing that every American is as intolerant of other people, other languages and other cultures.

@marguicha That's what I've thought, too. She's so overconfident on doing it. It was really not a good behavior to belittle others.

You said it right. Her excuses in apologizing to other beauty queens are a sign of showing the guilt. Too bad, it is too late to save her face now.

Miss Colombia is the other one. They were not able to make it. Miss USA was a wild card.

@Shavkat yes, Miss USA was ''pasang awa lang'' because of the wild card. she is small but with a very big mouth. Miss Vietnam, though she cannot speak English, made it to top 5. i think the racist attack on Misses Vietnam and Cambodia were looked into by the all female judges and made their call to drop Miss USA, Miss Colombia, and Miss Australia like hot potatoes . but the Aussie i think reached top 10, right?

@ridingbet It was a slap to their faces of what they did. Definitely, it was a big lesson for them. They cannot even conceal their feelings and let them go after the competition. Miss Colombia is a diva and can be seen on YoutTube video clippings.

I do agree with you. Another soul tends not to be careful in saying things to others.

It is a typical example for people who tend to be so insensitive and thinking not right towards other people.

It took a toll on her; apparently people were not appeased of what she had done although she apologized for it. Damage done!

I agree. I pity her. She needs to ponder what had happened and it would be a big lesson for her.
