This is the moment of the day when I mylot while watching reruns on TV. I´m now watching a "Criminal Minds" marathon from old times. Although I almost know by heart those chapters, I like them far better than the new episodes.
In fact, I have stopped watching altogether some of those serials. NCIS is not interesting at all without many of the characters I so liked. The show was not interesting because of the murders they solved; it was because of the interactions of the characters. Gone are now Ziva, Tony Dinozzo, Abigail. The show exploded and it is no more.
The same thing happened to Criminal Minds and I like to watch reruns where Aaron Hotchner was in charge of the unit and I could relate to the play between Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia.
So, here I am, watching the old reruns with all the people. It was just as if I was giving a party and inviting my friends. I would not invite the new characters. They don´t mean a thing to me.
Do you relate to characters in shows? I do.

Lovely picture. But I have some old TVs (not vintage) and don´t know what to do with them.

I agree. I also stopped watching NCIS and Criminal Minds when the good characters left. Just not the same shows anymore.

Now they are centered in the murders and not in the characters we loved.
