All I Can Do Is....

I am feeling dull today.The sky is heavily clouded and it has been constantly raining since last night.I don't like such cloudy and rainy days in winter.
To make the situation worse a complete strike has been observed in our area raising a demand to carve out an independent state comprising 5-6 districts.
So,the market is closed.Not a single shop is open.The main road that bustles with heavy traffic till 11 p. m.at night is empty.You can't see a single car or bike moving on it.I feel as if I am living in a ghost town.
I am helpless.I can't remove the clouds ,nor can I stop the rain.Nor can I call off the strike.All I can do is sit quietly behind closed doors feeling extremely dull and downbeat.

That must be a very different experience when everything is so quiet around you. You can't change the weather or the strike, but at least you can enjoy some time online

@Shivram59 It is good that you are able to spend some time here. When we have access to the internet we can talk to people online. Sometimes that cheers me up if I am having a bad day. It hasn't rained here today, but the weather is very cold, so I don't like to spend too much time outside.

@Porcospino Yes,fortunately Internet was smoothly accessible and this helped me a lot to entertain and relax.Here it is still rainy and I'm sure that tomorrow also we will have a cloudy and rainy day.

If weather is cloudy, you don't need to sit behind closed doors feeling dull and downbeat, you can enjoy rain, enjoy your life and enjoy everything..

@saumitra1 Actually it was continuously raining and I could not go out for my evening walk.And I love all seasons.Each season has its own beauty.But it is winter,not rainy season.I don't like rain in winter.

I think you need to do a few things for mylot,
So that the day is not boring because of the rain that continues to fall in your place,
Because you seem to need to entertain yourself from the boredom that you are experiencing right now

@Sreekala No,I don't. I don't have a room heater.Most of the time I remain out of home - either at my workplace or with my friends or on the playground or on the way to my long evening walk.So most of the time I remain exposed to the cold weather.Still,I admit,it is very cold this year.

@Sreekala Yes,Odhisa is experiencing a cold wave.Last night the temperature in my area was 7 C.Even now at 5.29 p.m.I am facing difficulty in typing these words.My sweater and coat seem to be unable to prevent my body from getting numb.

Yes cold and rainy weather can depress. My condition is not good - first cold and fever, then stomach upset- terribly, causing me to take a few unplanned leaves.
Which state? I wasn't following the news that much recently.

@Shivram59 well the most probable reason that I found, apart from getting a bit of cold is a Biryani that we ate from an outlet via online order last Sunday.
