Good Afternoon

Yesterday, I said I would be here most of the day. Yeah, about that. I got busy. First, it was a nap almost as soon as I got home from the pool. I ate breakfast first. An hour and a half later, I was on my way to my oldest's house to talk about Christmas.
Yesterday when he was here, he said he would have Christmas dinner at 3 in the afternoon. That doesn't work for me for two reasons, the most important being I would be on the road home in the dark, and with my cataracts, that's not an option. So, I asked if he could have dinner at noon. That way, I could leave by three, get here, put the turkey in the oven and have everything ready when my youngest and grandson came for dinner around six.
He agreed. Christmas is taken care of. Then I stopped at my daughter's on my way home. I got there a few minutes before she went out to do Christmas shopping. Timing is everything. I had a good visit with her for a few minutes. Then home to make necessary changes to Thread of Evidence. Just because I finished editing yesterday, doesn't mean the wheels have stopped turning. With what my son told me yesterday, I needed to make feasibility changes and get it correct in every way. I think I've got it ready. I will read it until my youngest gets me the map. Then I will turn it over to my publisher.
I also took care of the picture. I re-cropped it so it doesn't look like my one arm is on my hip instead of hanging down. This is the result.
I found out the times for the women's closet at the YWCA as I need a new swimsuit. I've been wearing shorts and a tank top for the past week. I can get a new suit next month. When I got there, I found the closet closed until after the New Year. Oh well.
That's been my day, so far. How is your day going? Thanks for reading.

No. It developed a hole. So, I need a new one. In the meantime, it's shorts and a tank. Though my next suit will be a size 10. The suit that developed a hole was a small 12. I tried wearing the other 12 and it's way too big. It's going in the bag to be given for the rummage give away in spring since it's still a good suit.
