I finally managed to bake some cookies and I must say they were a real success 
. The picture shows some of them, there were checkered cookies too, but the image is too big.
These cookies are very light and tasty, my wife took some at work and her colleagues said they want more 
. Of course I'll bake more! And more! And more!
P.s. After serious cutting, the picture shows. Finally!

My wife said they are great with coffee, but I'm sure they would go nicely with hot chocolate too .
Checkered cookies are easy to shape, you just cut the dough into several equal pieces and put them together alternatively . You glue them with egg wash or with water.

@ridingbet absolutely the same! But when he sees a bigger cookie, he leaves the one he's eating and asks for the bigger one. And so on and so on .
