Fractal Rose -- New Art Style

Not sure if fractal is the right word, but couldn't think of a better description. I made this in Gimp, I believe...This one was really fun to make. It is hard to explain without showing you all what I do to create this kind of design. Usually I can't make anything really out of this style, but this ended up looking like a flower (a rose perhaps). I just thought you all might like to see a different art style than my usual graphic designs. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Do you like it, or would you prefer my normal creations? I hope your Thursday is going great so far!
