why westerners don't squat like Asian? that is a question which often come to my mind. i have heard so many stories that westerner can't squat like asian people. in asia, so many people squat anywhere.

Because sitting is a lot more comfortable and then you cannot "squat" in front of a table, we do not eat keeping the food on the floor.

@nawala123 This is not something Europeans would ever do, it would be considered very rude. It's a matter of different culture.

They say squatting is good for the knee joints. Am Asian but can not do it anymore because of my weight, and many people here forget to squat because they're used to sitting on chairs. Hey that man in blue looks familiar; a travel blogger who is always on TV here.
