Morning of Christmas is the most boring

After the excitement of breaking in Christmas on Christmas Eve the morning after the night before seems the most boring.
There is lull everywhere until it starts again may be with brunch as I doubt anyone will have breakfast on Christmas Day.
Here neighbours will pop in with sweets that they have made themselves. Some will even buy them but exchanging sweets is a norm here.
How will your Christmas morning be?

You are right about the calmness the day after Christmas Eve. In my case, I sleep until 11 in the morning lol. In my neighborhood is all normal, people stay in their houses and children are out showing off their xmas presents to each other ugh! I wish I was a kid again so I would show off my Pokemon toys. LOL Happy Holidays!

The exchanging gifts is not a way here but we do exchange sweets with neighbours.

Mine will be good I hope. I go to attend morning session with friends and then attend several parties at different frinds' places. Fun all the way every year. However, I will be on my way to New Zealand this 25th morning so nothing like that for the first time in years.

There are exceptions to every rule kind of Here most get up late and the day starts much later.
That will be a great change for you. New Zealand is a great place in all respects. Have been there.

There is much planning that leads up to Christmas that when it's over it feels a bit disappointing. Christmas morning the kids will get to open their presents before I make breakfast. Then we will go to my mother's to exchange presents followed later on by dinner.
