Baobab Christmas Tree

I normally have a traditional forest pine green tree, but this year I decided to do things a little differently. All my children have left the coup and I don't have to stick to tradition as they would like, therefore I decided to get myself a handmade African Baobab Tree and just add a few small trimmings. Keeping the decorations minimalistic but remembering the true meaning. "It is a succulent, which means that during the rainy season it absorbs and stores water in its vast trunk, enabling it to produce a nutrient-dense fruit in the dry season when all around is dry and arid. This is how it became known as "The Tree of Life". Baobab trees grow in 32 African countries." There are many African Tales based on the Baobab tree and if you are interested in reading them, I am sure google will provide your with ample material. December is the Festive Season Month as Anna has mentioned, and for everyone out there celebrating some kind of "Christmas" and the blessings and Magic which come with it . . . from my outpost on the African continent, I wish you all a Feliz Navidad.

I love the concept of minimalism and I support you 100% I groaned when I saw our Christmas tree it takes up half the blooming room! Many years ago my family went to Mauritius for Christmas but I was working. They were mortified to hear I did not put any decorations up. What was the point I was working nights sleeping in the day so all that effort for nothing,. Besides I saw decorations at work why mess up my place. LOL Have a brilliant time Lany!
