Twas early morning The sun not even up When the "paw" was awakened By the stirrings of the pups Yes, their "paw" they awoke So dressed in his gown And his slippers, too He led them on down Downstairs past the tree With its tinsel and lights It was pee o'clock in the morning Though it still looked like night "Paw" let them out the door To take care of their need Then he prepared Their breakfast to feed Soon they came to the door With a bark and a yip And he fed them their breakfast Which they downed quick Then he sipped on some coffee He'd brewed while they roamed And sat down to compose This pee o'clock poem. DW Davis 12/24/2018 Merry Christmas Eve Morning MyLot!

Inspiration to write poetry comes from anywhere and in your case I do not have to emphasise (lol) Preiti loves her sleep and is a late riser. Wonder how she can hold on.

@fluffy69 We have two dogs at this time, and two cats live on our front porch with an occasional visit from a third. At one time we had three dogs and three cats.

Our pups usually go out for the last time between 8:30 and 9:00, which is okay most of the time because my wife normally gets up before 5:30.

Even though Dixie Cup has a doggie door she will not go out to do business unless my brother-in-law James is behind her
