After surprising you by not having an Eagles connection at #1 on my list of Bob Seger favorites, here’s the real top song on my countdown. This, truthfully, should come as no surprise, given how frequently I quote a line out of this song. Everything about this song is the truth: “you’re a little bit older and a lot less bolder than you used to be,” but there’s always the magic of music. This powerhouse song kicks off Seger’s “breakthrough” classic album, Night Moves. No frills, straight ahead “blue collar” rock and roll from a guy who was an “overnight success” after eight years and ten albums.
