The day at the beach was glorious.

Today it was a beautiful day. The sun shone from the morning and we went out looking for one of those beaches where children have fun and old people suffer.
The place had rocks to climb and it was hard to get there. The children got bored eventually and we went to another beach. Previously, I had bought everyone all sorts of plastic buckets and colored molds to play with sand.
At the beach, there was a small kiosk where they sold cheese empanadas which we bought. I imagine that everyone will be hungry at dinner time.
While I wait for dinner, I have a much needed cup of coffee at my side.
I´ll mylot a bit now. Carolina and Claudia are talking 'important' things between them and the rest of us have to stay away. See you around.

I am so happy that you had fun on the beach with loved ones. I must stress that I love this post being that you mentioned two of my favourites words "empanadas" and "coffee" that's a tasty meal for me! LOL take care girl! :)

@marguicha what is your favourite filling to fill the empana? Mine is cheese, the traditional one.

@jvicentevalera I like both the fried cheese empanada and one made with meat, onion and spices which I usually cook it in the oven.

@Courtlynn We ate the menu of the day which was less expensive and you could choose between coffee or dessert. I preferred coffee.

@marguicha I guess my wishing for better weather worked. All of our snow is gone and the temps are nice enough for an afternoon walk around the block today!!

Sounds like you had a great day. The weather here in Florida is a bit cool now and I am thinking of taking a brisk walk along the beach on Saturday.

I got from Pixabay a beach. The actual beach in Chile was different, much like what you saw when you went there years ago.

I don´t mind the temperature. But I had to buy a beach chair so that I could get up with the help of my grandson.
