After 19:00 you should not eat, but if you must, then something should be eaten lightly and in a small amount.

I don't think you should eat right before bed, mostly because your body needs to rest, not concentrate on digesting food. However, there are some foods I avoid in the evening (like chocolate that will keep me awake) and eat something light, like an apple with peanut butter.

@KOLAMsegaran1 After 4pm, I tend to stay away from anything with caffeine, mostly because it will keep me awake.

For slow metabolism body this could be true. Yet, it is depend how much you consume at night and the type of food. It is better to have light dinner and allow at least 4 hour of digestion time before you go to bed. Exercise in your spare time is still important to maintain your body health.

Eating less or justifiable amounts at night- before 11 pm does not by itself makes one fat. But eating fatty food, excessive eating or too much sweet or eating very late can make one fat. I have experienced my tummy size increase because of my extra sweet fondness, and I know reducing it would be quite a task. So eat but in right quantity and by the right time.

Eating too much at night is not good, this is sure. A light dinner before 7 pm is better.

It can put on the pounds if you are not careful. It is all about moderation. Skip the dessert. I usually don't eat anything after 6pm.
