Heavy Snowfall in Flagstaff, Arizona, US

I woke up to snow this morning here in Grand Junction, Colorado. They say it will stop around noon then start up again about midnight and will continue to fall for awhile. I am glad that I don't have to be out in it. My son said the roads are pretty nasty right now.

No snow here in sunny South Florida, thank goodness!

Right now, we have a light powder of snow but it will rain later on.

There may be some snowflakes during the following days in the south of Germany. Up to now there was only rain.

I live a couple hours south of Flagstaff, so we're dealing with the same storm right now. Flagstaff has already gotten a bit of snow this year--when it snows I can see it on the tops of the San Francisco Peaks when I'm driving home from getting the kids after school. Today's the first real snowfall we've gotten, though. It started about an hour ago and there's already a good amount sticking on the ground. The weather reports said we were going to get between one and three inches, but with how much has already fallen and the fact it's supposed to continue for most of the day I think it's going to wind up being more than that. If you'd like to see more footage from Flagstaff, there's a live camera at Snowbowl that shows the beginner's area. They have a few feet of snow on the ground there right now.

Will you have snow later? We don't get snow in my part of the world.
