Since 2018 is over and another year is in the books, I have been reading through a couple random news stories. The one I am reading right now is about shows that came to an end over the last twelve months.
Scandal, which was super popular with a lot of people. Especially those who liked Grey's Anatomy and shows of the like, ended this year. I don't think I ever actually watched the show, so I'm not that sad that it ended. New Girl did end this year, which I am a little sad about. It's on the list of shows that I want to watch, but haven't really watched it much since it started on air.
There have been a lot of speculations and drama involving Kevin Spacey this year, and if you follow him at all you know that he was on House of Cards. Well the show can't go on without a star. Which is common sense, so when Spacey quit or got fired or whatever and they decided to continue on with the show I knew that it wasn't going to last. And I was right. They ended it in November.
One that I am actually sad that ended is The Middle. I have watched that show since it first started and I loved the humor, the characters, the actors and the whole show. So this is one that I will be buying on dvd and watching the whole thing.
Many of you have read the posts I have written about books I have read or are reading, and one of the series of books that I read this past year was the Midnight, Texas series of books by Charlaine Harris and they made a show. I haven't watched it yet but loved the books and am kinda sad that the show was cancelled after the second season.
When I used to have cable and watch daytime tv, I would watch The Chew. Michael Symon was on it, and well I am a big fan of him. I was kind of surprised to learn a little while ago that it got cancelled. I'm not surprised after all the allegations and drama that surrounded a few of the stars in recent times that the show got cancelled.
All in all, there were one hundred and three shows cancelled over the course of 2018. Were there any I spoke about that you were sad that were cut? Or any that I didn't mention that you were sad about?

I don't think I have seen any of those, but we don't have cable...and not all of those come on Hulu.

Midnight, Texas was canceled. I have yet to watch the lest episode. I read they are shopping the show to streaming so maybe it will get a new life.
