I am really impressed with Kathi Moore who adopted a Greyhound who racing in dog races in Florida with the stage name "Gene's Outlaw" until the dog retired from racing nine months later after he made his debut.
Moore adopt the former "Gene's Outlaw" when the Greyhound was working in a prison program in Indianapolis Indiana two years ago after her dogs died due to old age.
Moore found out after she spent time with Finn which is name now, that Finn could be useful working at children's hospitals in Indianapolis since he is a sweet dog that loves children.
Finn and Kathi now work at the Riley's Children's Health in Indianapolis giving love to sick children who enjoy the company of the former racetrack dog in Florida.
It is nice to see Greyhounds who are retired from their sport find work as service dogs around the nation.

There is a greyhound rescue centre here too. It's good that these dogs get a second chance at life.

I have seen this working with other dogs too. It works well for both the dogs and the humans. Happy to know this
