Hi My Lot! I'm in a reviewing kind of mood! Lucky you. lol. Well seeing as I was just talking about the Instant Pot - I may as well share my thoughts on its use. Well first of all, so the instant pot is a pressure cooker that you plug in and can cook things in a fraction of the time. On this one there are a number of features - rice cooker, saute, soup, but my favorite seems to be manual. So far I've made pot roast, bbq chicken, mac n cheese and even hard boiled eggs. All got delicious - tender and done well. This may be my favorite way to cook..... it even doubles as a slow cooker, which I also love.
The lid plays music when it is put on and removed and also has several fail safes so that, I assume, you cannot blow yourself up.
The settings are a little confusing to figure out and my friend Vicki @#1CreekGirl says that there is some damage in using the quick release valve for your air conditioning lines... so use caution.
Here's a youtube video from someone who got the same one: (not my video)
Happy New Year everyone!! So to start the New Year off right I FINALLY get to do the Pioneer Woman Instant Pot video. I basically review the item plus its ma...

@crossbones27 I should learn to cool with a crock pot. I do like soups and stews. Even if no other kinds of pot are around.

Ah yes, I actually wonder if - after the craze is over - they won't be just as available as slow cookers at things like garage sales and thrifts

LOL... I thought the same thing as "The Horse" It's supposedly legal here but the country just isn't ready to open the doors. I wish that they had of worked out all of the kinks before saying it was a get go!!

@FayeHazel First they said that we would have it July 1st... couldn't get it done... so it was October something... can't remember but it went through, but they still didn't have everything in place. Stores will be allowed to carry it, but I can't remember when that will be. Everyone has pretty much forgotten about it!!

lol. Ah yes. Not that kind of "pot" though I wish it here.
Oh cool, I didn't know it was legal in Canada.
Here it is legal in a couple of states - and in many more medicinally.
I hope they legalize it everywhere soon

After the expense of new ac lines from that Instant Pot, it's too bad it wasn't sitting on the shelf that was destroyed when that car crashed into our garage. Maybe the insurance would have paid me for it.

lol, I admit I was scared the first couple of times I used it. It doesn't help that it beeps and plays music. But there are many failsafes built in so you dont' explode lol
