So a contestant of the dating competition "The Bachelor" Notice that majority of contestants are blondes and she is a blonde. Its a contest where women are competing to become the wife of the rich guy. She wanted to stand out so she fake an Australian accent so he will notice her. She is American. So her strategy to win his love is to pretend she is australian. If you found out a friend or a person you date is faking their Nationality just to be close to you. How would you feel. PS, this discussion is not about the show. Its about this woman lying she is Australian to get close to a guy. the clip:

If you'll lie to get what you want, you'll lie whenever it seems to be to your advantage. I wouldn't even consider a person who tried to deceive me right off the bat.

It wouldnt matter to me where the person came from but it would be more the fact that they lied to me right from the start. I would have a problem with that.

That's so dumb! If she thinks she is getting better attention because of the fake accent, imagine what kind of attention she would get when the truth is revealed.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Eventually she would get caught no matter what. It's not only her fake accent, but she'd have to lie about her whole history. Red flag for the Bachelor .

From what I remember from this show..... The Bachelor will visit the family of the final 4 women to get to know them better. Imagine if this "Australian" made it to final 4 and the guy saw her family having American accents.

the Kardashian type reality shows... While others are manipulated by producers while others are heavily edited. Then there is Survivor that is real.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Even survivor may have some scripted part or editing. At least the island is not as dangerous as they make it to be.

I hope he doesn't pick her. That is not a good thing to lie when you first meet someone.
