Eight year old Perryn Miller who went along with his parents to see his relatives who live in Utah, encountered some health challenges when he was taken to a local hospital in West Valley Utah to remove a tumor from his brain via surgery. Perryn is on the road to recovery after the operation was a success. However the Miller family left their German Shepherd Frank back in Wilmington North Carolina since their plans to return home from their vacation were changed. Enter Bob Reynolds who is a former truck driver who volunteered to take Frank from North Carolina to Utah which is a cross country trip of 2,300 miles. Thanks to the efforts of Bob to do his duty to take Frank to reunite with his owners, Perryn is happy to reunite with his eight month old pet,

What a great story. I'm sure having his dog by his side will help Perryn's recovery too.
