My trusty old laptop (the one I'm typing this on) is on its way out. It's still fine for text but photographs and videos have taken on a strange appearance. There are green pixels appearing all over any image (or video) I try to view. This started a couple of days ago and I have been asking a couple of computer shops what the problem might be. Apparently, the graphics card has developed a fault. It could be repaired but, considering the age of my laptop (it's nine years old), the best solution seems to be buying a new one - so that's what I did earlier today! With a little bit of luck I'll get my new laptop up and running quickly and this should be the last thing I put on myLot from my old one. PS: If you never hear from me again you'll know that the latest in all-singing, all-dancing modern technological devices has beaten me!
