I finished listening to Mary Poppins by Pamela Lyndon Travers. It is the first book in a series of books.
In the book, Mary Poppins comes in on the East wind to Number 17 Cherry Tree Lane. She comes to look after the Banks' children which are Jane, Michael, John, and Barbara. Mary Poppins is little rude to them, but she is very magical. She takes them on wild adventures. In the end, she leaves on the West wind.
I did like the book. Although I think the original movie was better.I will be getting some of the other books in the series later on. Now I'm reading Salem's Lot by Stephen King.

@josie_ The new one is not a remake. It's a sequel and the Mary Poppins in it is like the book version. She's not really nice.
