Friday was spent attending funeral services

Yesterday, my day was spent attending funeral services of my uncle's dad. It was not what I thought I'd be doing on Friday but I obviously had to be there and I wanted to be there too. It was definitely great to see everybody as I don't get to see them that often but I wish it was under different circumstances that we were getting together. I hate it (and it's sad too) that it takes events like these (or just birthdays) to get together. Get togethers should happen more often and not just because it's a special occasion.
