Heath Bar -Toffee Bit Brownies

Well, we can't go anywhere and I didn't buy a bunch of snacks or sweets when at the store, but my husband was hungry for dessert with dinner tonight! I had everything to make brownies from scratch and then added some of the Heath Bar - Toffee Bits. They are in the oven now and smell delicious.
If it were up to me, every dessert would be a homemade cookie or ice cream, but my husband likes things that are more cake-like or bar like, so he's thrilled with what we had on hand!
What are some of your favorite homemade desserts that aren't too difficult to make?

Oh, I love cookies, and quick breads and all of it. Candy, you name it. I am not supposed to have it though and do not bake very often at all.

I'd be better off not to have it as well! I go to the Dr. Monday and suspect I'll be cutting back! LOL

One homemade dessert that's easy to make and tastes great are brownies.
It's been a long time since I've made brownies at home because when I want a dessert at home, I always purchase them at the grocery stores. I usually buy a box of brownies, jelly rolls, and zebra cakes.

All great choices and to be honest if we weren't under a "No Travel Advisory" by our police departments, I'd likely have just gone and bought something, but this works!

I saw them in the supermarket... and I'm definitely going to stock up... you could pretty much sprinkle them over anything and everything. I'm thinking oatmeal ;)
