I didn't but he seems to have pissed off everyone. He offered some concessions--3 years of protection for DACA and a 3 year extension of TPS for 300,000 refugees--in exchange for the $5.7 billion that he wants for his vanity wall.
The Democrats aren't going for it because they aren't going to give him ANY money for a stupid, ineffective wall that the majority of the country doesn't want. His base is angry because he is offering what looks like amnesty and a way to citizenship to foreigners, illegals, "brown" people, etc. Trump really seems to have shot himself in the foot with this one.

I actually just commented on this. Thanks for telling me I missed it. I did not need the blood boiling today. Hey Mr President how about all the illegals you hired. Yet, its such a threat you put 800,000 people out of work probably made 10 million lose business. Added 500 billion to the debt because of your tax cut for the rich. Yeah glad I missed it. I would have broke my TV.

Offering citizenship to Dreamers may have been considered, but not a time-limited extension to DACA. Dreamers are safe as long as the Supreme Court does not decide to take the case, and the SC does not seem to be in a hurry. It is a fool's bargain.

He doesn't seem to understand that he isn't getting the money for the wall. It ISN'T happening. And the Democrats will not reward him by giving him anything like what he wants as a result of this shutdown or he will pull this stunt again and again.

@topffer I didn't watch it but many of the reactions I've seen have said that he was totally flat and looked defeated. Some have said he looked like a hostage victim. He has enough problems of his own with Mueller's investigation. I honestly have no clue why he picked this fight right now just as the Democrats took control of the House of Representatives. He isn't going to win this one. Apparently after this speech, he is losing even more of his beloved red-state base. He has already started losing them as this shutdown has dragged on and they aren't getting paychecks and their food stamps are being impacted.

I didn't see it but I am very glad he shot himself in the foot.
I am bit surprised he didn't delcare a National Emergency. That would have blown both his feet off.
