Ever since I've adopted all three of them I've been feeding them with nothing but Rice and Viand. Most of the time Menudo, Grilled pork beef and Liver stew, mix it up with rice an rationed to all four of them.
I know some of you thinks that I should have just sort it to wet dog food but too expensive and there four of them.
But I'm thinking of this for the new ones, my eldest dog had stop eating dry dog food a long time ago.
Don't like giving them dog / puppy dry food but I'm low on budget and may not last for a week.
What do you think? both pups reach more than two months now and the other is more than four months.

Hello @jstory07 I'm not sure about that but I have let them taste a few, and it lasted less than ten seconds for them eat it

@sugartoes The other reason why they were given to me was because they don't have any other homes to go to. If i put a dry food over there it won't last ten seconds

I am glad that you have saved so many, but you should not make yourself poor by feeding dogs expensive food. By all means, feed them dry dogfood.

You can give them dry food once in a while which is less tasking than preparing wet food; if they lost the appetite for it, then shift to wet food again.

I think it's reasonable. Or perhaps they could each get a small portion wet food along with the dry food?

Hello @FayeHazel Don't you think that's not safe? Well, I usually fed the other dry and wet food on the same day. But for these too young puppies I would go slow.

@Letranknight2015 hM, Not sure how dogs are with food needs - but I know we have had success with cats doing like this - they get a small amount of wet food in the morning, and then - all day they have available dry food - which they can eat any time

I give Luna dry pellets. It would be more expensive to make her a balanced dog food with what you give them.

Since you have four then you have to do what you have to do. I have one cat and learned from when I had a dog and cat that I can only feed her wet food and dry food.
