How do you decide which food supplement to take?

Several brands of food supplements are now flooding the market with each brand claiming superiority over the other brands. TV advertisements and word of mouth often convinced me to try them. Right now am taking Lecithin-E with Honey which is chewable. They said there are blood vessels in our tongue which absorbs the nutrients while we are chewing them.

@florelway my doc tells me most of this goes out of your system, he calls it costly urine.

@sofssu because this is opposed to Western meds. Some people also avoid Western meds because these may not be good for kidneys.

most food supplements now claim they are all natural. I hope they're being true to their claim.

I only take ascorbic acid but most of the time rely on fresh fruits and vegetables instead of taking the "instant" vitamins.
