I’ve been thinking about my hometown NYC and particularly about the borough of Brooklyn and where I was born and raised in Bay Ridge. So I thought I would look up some songs about Brooklyn. This is the first of them. “Coney Island Baby” by Lou Reed.
The song was included on his 1976 album of the same name and recorded in New York City. I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite song but it is interesting and it has to do with Brooklyn.
Has anyone heard this song before?

And I was born and raised by Orchid Beach in the Bronx and not far from the Yankee Stadium--well a bus ride away! :O)
