A dog in Ohio finally gets adopted after she spent over a year in waiting / myLot

A happy story from Dayton Ohio comes from a story that a dog named Cassie who was spent over one year at the Humane Society Of Dayton Ohio who had the misfortune of being adopted by a family who needed her services only to be returned back to the shelter since she came to the shelter on August 9, 2017. However lady luck did shine of the fortunes of Cassie when a loving family in Dayton did not their name released, decided to take the female dog to their home for the rest of her life today. The employees at the society center shed tears that their favorite dog was leaving them. However they are happy that after 525 days of waiting to be adopted, Cassie hit the jackpot at last.

Im glad she found a home. It makes me sad that some dogs live in shelters for long periods of time or get adopted just to get returned. I wish i could save them all

I know how you feel that we all wish to adopt every dog in a shelter. We would have to have deep pockets to feed and take care of them all.
